I can't tell you how much I love my days off. Like LOVE THEM! And I have this list of things I want to do while in Alaska and my days off seem like the prime time to check a couple of them off. So I got Alex and we headed to the Fish Hatchery. Now I tried to do this same thing another day but my sister Mariah sent me on a wild goose chace and I ended up walking 3ish miles in the wrong direction. This time, lesson learned, I looked up the directons myself and all it took was a simple bus ride.
This little creature, in the touch tank, is the reason underwater animals are not of this world! Like seriously he'd creep up on you and you wouldn't even know it.
I have no shame, I know it. I don't mind being a kid... anywhere. And parks seem like the best place to act just like a kid. The only problem acting like a kid is having a 22 year old body to go with it. I am not quite as agile as I once was. Note to self: if it looks to small it probably is.
And after we had tuckered ourself out we ended with lunch at Silverbow.
