Christmas

Another Christmas in the life of the Beesley's. Of course there was much gingerbread making and game playing. Dallin and I opted to follow our theme of gruesome acts; this year it was a beheading of a gummy bear with a guillotine.

Christmas morning came and passed, it was really low key. I made out like a bandit though: new dress, earrings, perfume, clutch, and the boots that I have been searching long and hard for. Honestly, in November I called every store in the state of Wa. looking for these boots and when I couldn't find them I had Mariah go get them for me from a store in Ut. They are definitely worth it!

I also went sledding. I dragged Dallin to go with me. He struggled at first but once he saw me in my oversized/add 40lb jacket he just couldn't resist. He thought that it was necessary to point out that we had at least 10 years on anyone out sledding, but I throw my inhibitions to whind when it comes to sledding. Sledding isn't quite like what it used to be though, I can only climb to the top of the giant hill a few times before I'm totaly worn out. Sad but true. And I went out to dinner with some old girlfriends.People say that Christmas looses its' magic when you're older... I think people need to take a page from kids, just get ridiculously-out of control-over excited! Let loose and live a little.
